A gel overlay treatment is application of gel to the natural nail. Gel overlays will not give the nails any extra length. The gel overlay will help the natural nail to grow underneath.

Damage is caused when a gel product is forcefully peeled off the nail. To avoid any damage to the natural nail it’s essential for the gel to be soaked off professionally.

The gel is set using LED light so there’s no drying time.

We recommend having the gel infilled after 3-4 weeks.

Alternatively, you can keep them on for longer and just book in for a soak off. 

A gel infill is needed after 3-4 weeks of application. The original gel gets buffed down and rebalanced, allowing new gel to be applied, filling in the growth and giving the nails a new look.

The nails are soaked in a solution to melt the gel off the natural nail. Once the old gel is removed, we can either reapply new gel or leave the nails bare.

Sculpting gel nails give the nails extra length. Essentially, they are ‘nail extensions’, although a plastic ‘stick on tip’ is not used. We use the sculpting gel to create a nail, therefore giving the nails a more natural look and minimising nails ‘pinging off’, as the gel covers the whole of the natural nail rather than sticking a plastic tip at the end of the nail plate.

As with gel overlays, we recommend an infill 3-4 weeks after application. Please note, sculpting gel is a ‘non soak off gel’. To remove them after first application we would buff off the top layers, leaving the base to grow out. We do infill the sculpting nails with our ‘soak off’ gel, so after a few infills they will become ‘soak off’ gels.

Shellac is a product that is applied to the natural nail. It will not give the nails any extra length. It is applied the same way as the gel but is not as strong. We recommend shellac to clients who have quite strong natural nails or for toenails.

Shellac nails last about 2 weeks.

Shellac cannot be infilled. Shellac has to be soaked off and reapplied.

To avoid any damage, we strongly recommend having any nail product professionally removed.

Our standard pedicures include hard skin reduction using a foot file and scrub. The feet are soaked in a foot spa, feet and legs are massaged, a mask is applied and cuticle work and nail prep (cutting and filing) are carried out. You then have the option of no polish, polish or shellac.

Our luxury pedicures are performed using Elim products. These products are medical-grade, giving you optimal results. The treatment includes a solution applied to any hard skin, to help dissolve it, allowing us to gently scrape it away without using a foot file. Neutralizer is applied to rebalance the skin’s PH. This is followed by an AHA exfoliator, applied to the feet and legs, a massage and a mud mask. The feet are soaked in our luxury foot spas containing our spa additive. The pedicure is finished with a spray of our ‘gold spritz’ and polish/ shellac applied. Or of course, no polish if preferred.

We ask for photos to be sent to us if a particular design is wanted. We can then let you know if we can replicate the design. Nail art is charged at £3-£5 depending on the design, how intricate it is and how long it would take.
