Welcome to Danikas. We are a skin clinic, beauty and aesthetics salon based in the city of Newport. Established in 2009, we pride ourselves on our high standard of work and making our clients feel good about themselves. We offer an extensive selection of high-quality treatments and stock medical-grade skincare, AlumierMD and WISH skincare.

Danika

Salon Owner
Danika opened her salon in 2009. She opened with a strong clientele that expanded quickly, meaning she needed to employ. After employing Alice, the salon got even busier, allowing room for more staff. She now has a very strong team of therapists running the salon with her. She specialises in skin care and waxing. Her favourite treatments to do are the chemical peels. She has completed numerous courses over the last 15 years to broaden her knowledge and expand her services.

Nichola

Receptionist
Nichola is our salon receptionist. She has been at Danikas since the day she opened. She's super organised and helps to keep us all in check! She takes care of appointments, payments and the general running of the salon. Her favourite treatments to have done are the LVL lashes and gel overlays. Nichola started as a client before Danika opened her salon, became her friend and kindly offered to help her when she first started her little venture into opening her own salon. She then became her receptionist and has been at the salon ever since.

Kalisha

Beauty Therapist
Kalisha is known as our ‘Brow Queen!’. She has been at Danikas from a very young age, helping out before she became a college student, making tea and coffee and cleaning. She’s worked her way up from a young Saturday girl to a fully qualified, thriving therapist. Kalisha specialises in microblading. She’s completed numerous courses to create the ‘perfect brow’.

ALICE

Beauty Therapist
Alice is known for her nail talent! She specialises in sculpting gel. She uses her talent to effortlessly build longer nails with the sculpting gel, completely transforming short, broken nails. Alice has been at Danikas since the day she qualified, starting out as the ‘newly qualified’ therapist to becoming one of the most sought-after therapists. Alice’s favourite treatments to do are gel overlays and sculpting gel nails.

Amelia

Beauty Therapist
Amelia started with us as an apprentice in January 2022. She’s now a fully qualified beauty therapist with a thriving clientele. She’s worked really hard to pass all her assessments and become the therapist she is today. Amelia’s favourite treatments to do are nails and waxing.

Sam

Hairdresser
Sam runs her successful hair salon at Danikas. She has built a thriving clientele over her 39 years as a hairdresser. She was a client of Danikas before deciding to join the team! She offers colouring, perming and cut and blow services.

Malwina

Lash technician
Malwina is our lash technician. She specialises in lash extensions, Korean lash lift & tint and brow lamination. Malwina is self employed and has been with us since 2024. Danika and the girls at the salon all love to have their lashes done with Malwina
